Zinovy Feldman was a Russian composer who made significant contributions to the world of music. As a member of the Moscow Society for Jewish Music, he was actively involved in the creation and promotion of Jewish music. His compositional style was influenced by his friend and fellow musician, Alexander Krein, with whom he shared a close relationship. Feldman's own compositions primarily consisted of chamber music pieces, showcasing his skill and versatility as a composer.
Feldman's talent was recognized by prominent figures in the music world, including Sergei Prokofiev, who held him in high esteem. Prokofiev's trust in Feldman's abilities was evident in the fact that he entrusted him with the orchestration of some of his works. Despite his promising career, Feldman's life was cut short when he died during the Second World War at the age of 49.
